The Farmhouse Fonte Vinaglia

Our farmhouse in the province of Arezzo looks out over the wonderful Valle di Chio, a small Tuscan valley that borders Umbria. Valle di Chio has maintained throughout the years its rural agriculture traditions and typical Tuscan countryside. This valley, still unknown to many, frames a portion of our farm in Castiglion Fiorentino.

Here we produce extra virgin olive oil, which can be purchased on site, and it is amid olive groves, woods and chestnut trees that our beautiful villa in the Tuscan countryside is nestled. Thanks to the amazing park surrounding the country house it is possible to eat al fresco during the summer and spend pleasant relaxing moments in absolute privacy.

The farmhouse derives its name from the ancient name of place where it was built: here you can see a water spring originating a small stream. The Faralli family purchased the estate in the 1960s and the abandoned house was used as a warehouse during the olive harvest period. The farmhouse has been recently renovated and opened to guests since 2000 combining the olive oil sale with the farm holiday business. Spread over two floors, the cottage is spacious and comfortable (about 290 sq. m.) in classic Tuscan style in both its architecture and furnishings. It can accommodate 8 guests for unforgettable holidays in Tuscany in contact with nature.
